Dyno Nobel Ammonium Nitrate Production Plant Fire Water System Extension
to the Prill Container Storage Area
Detailed hydraulic modelling of the Dyno Nobel Ammonium Nitrate Production Plant fire water network to assess firefighting flow capacity to the existing Prill Container Storage Area. The project involved the attendance to detailed internal network modelling using Bentley software WaterCAD to establish the impact on the capacity of the internal network when fire demands were applied in the vicinity of the Prill Container Storage Area. The outcome of the project included a detailed planning and investigation report and detailed design and documentation for the augmentation of the existing network to service the firefighting requirements of the Prill Container Storage Area.
